Pure Bred Arabian
Sayyid of Destiny, by Lady Anne Lytton's Silver Flame traced
back to one of the original Crabbet imports, the Queen
of Sheba via his dam.
He was the first purebred born to the Sariah Arabians stud out
of our foundation mare, Cleothera and was bred, broken and
produced by Sheila. He achieved much acclaim as a ridden stallion
at the International because of his manners, superb termperament
and generous spirit. He was a delight to ride! Sayyid of Destiny
produced the most beautiful heads in his offspring as depicted
by Sariah's
Sasha.
Sadly, Sayyid was put to sleep in February 2007, at the grand age of 31. You can read more about him in our Archive pages.
Shows and Placings
Sayyid of Destiny competed at Olympia in the Christmas
shows. He was also in the dressage to music at Ardingly
in the 1990s in a Peer Gynt spectacular which achieved
fourth place. He regularly competed and was always placed
at Royal Windsor Horse show and other major shows. He
was also highly placed in the Ridden Stallion class
at the International Show Towerlands in 1991.
